who care for one another and bring God’s love into a broken world”
We want to ensure safety during our Sunday services and other gatherings at Vineyard Groningen. This is why we are abiding by the measures required by Dutch law that are in place in all of society.
Here’s what we’re doing:
Seating on distance
We will set up seating on appropriate (1,5 meter) distance in the auditorium. For the number of people per service we abide by the currently counting regulations.
Disinfecting and ventilating
In between the services, we will make sure to ventilate the room properly and disinfect the chairs, surfaces and toilets.
No coffee time
Because keeping appropriate distance is nearly impossible to do during coffee time, we have decided not to serve coffee/tea before or after the service. When the service is finished, we ask everyone to leave the building within a couple of minutes. We will be available to pray for you and connect with new people at the Meeting Point.
When we have communion (once a month) it will be prepared safely and distributed by the hospitality team wearing face-masks and gloves.
Here’s what we are asking you to do:
Get tested in case of symptoms
When you have symptoms that are commonly associated with an infection with the corona-virus like: coughing, sneezing, loss of taste or smell and airway problems. If you have any of these symptoms, please make sure to get tested soon and in the meantime, don’t come.

Reserve your ticket
For the services you will need to reserve tickets (adults only) and these tickets will be checked at the door. The purpose of this is to make sure we won’t go over the max number of people we can safely host in the auditorium of Gomarus.
Get your tickets for the upcoming services
We require everyone entering the building to wear a mask. Once seated at appropriate distance, you are free to take it off, but advised to keep it on.
Respect physical distancing
An important safety regulation is keeping a proper distance from each other when socialising. And this is where we all have a personal responsibility. We would like to ask you to respect physical distancing during our gatherings as much as you can.
In this season, there will be worship from the platform, but no communal singing. We will be exploring other ways beside singing to pursue intimacy with Jesus during the service.
